Our pillows and other FR bedding products, be it cotton or polyester, gain their flame-retardant properties through a quality controlled Chemical process. This process means that our products are treated with a chemical that allows the fabric to form an insulating char when exposed to flames, thus protecting the fabric and providing a completely reliable flame-retardant performance.  Our Flame Retardant (FR) and waterproof duvets are filled with 100% polyester FR treated Hollowfibre, which contains fibres that are hollow and can trap air within them, thus insulating the duvet and making it much warmer.
